Aminopeptides ships exclusively within Canada using Canada Post. This policy explains how orders are processed, how much shipping costs, how long parcels typically take to arrive, and how we handle the exceptional situations where something goes wrong in transit. By placing an order with Aminopeptides you acknowledge and accept the terms described below.

Research-Use Disclaimer

All products sold by Aminopeptides are supplied strictly for in-vitro laboratory and research purposes. They are not manufactured, labelled, or approved for human or veterinary consumption, and Health Canada has not authorized them for therapeutic, diagnostic, or cosmetic use. By completing a purchase you confirm that the materials will be handled in an appropriate research setting by qualified personnel. This disclaimer is integral to every transaction and is not limited to the Terms of Service page.

Shipping Rates and Free-Shipping Threshold

Canadian shipping is charged at a flat rate of fifteen Canadian dollars ($15.00 CAD) per order, regardless of parcel weight, destination province, or the number of items in the order. Orders with a merchandise subtotal of two hundred and fifty Canadian dollars ($250.00 CAD) or more — calculated before the Interac e-Transfer surcharge and before any applicable taxes — qualify for complimentary standard shipping. The free-shipping threshold is evaluated on the pre-surcharge, pre-tax merchandise subtotal only; shipping charges, payment surcharges, and taxes do not count toward the $250.00 threshold.

Processing Times

Aminopeptides processes orders Monday through Friday, excluding Canadian statutory holidays and the office closure days listed on our homepage banner during holiday periods. Once your Interac e-Transfer has been received, accepted, and reconciled against your order number, your parcel will be prepared and handed to Canada Post within one to two business days. Orders received on weekends or holidays are queued for the next business day. You will receive an email confirmation at the address on file as soon as the label has been generated.

Carrier and Transit Times

Canada Post is our sole shipping partner. We do not currently offer courier alternatives such as Purolator, UPS, or FedEx. Typical transit times once a parcel has been accepted by Canada Post are two to ten business days, depending on the destination postal code, weather, and carrier workload. Remote postal codes — including many communities in the Territories, northern Ontario, northern Quebec, Labrador, and isolated coastal regions of British Columbia — may experience longer transit windows of up to fifteen business days. These estimates reflect Canada Post’s standard service and are not guarantees. [LAWYER REVIEW REQUIRED] Counsel should confirm whether any carrier-specific language is required under Ontario consumer-protection legislation for e-commerce delivery estimates.

Tracking

Every shipment is dispatched with a Canada Post tracking number. The tracking number will be emailed to you from aminopeptides1@gmail.com at the point the label is generated. If you have not received tracking information within three business days of your Interac e-Transfer being confirmed, please contact us so that we can investigate and re-send the notification if necessary.

Delayed, Lost, and Damaged Parcels

Once a parcel has been accepted by Canada Post, it enters their custody and becomes subject to their service standards and handling procedures. If tracking information stagnates for more than seven consecutive business days without movement, we will open a service ticket with Canada Post on your behalf and keep you informed of the outcome. Canada Post, not Aminopeptides, determines whether a parcel is officially classified as lost; that determination typically requires a minimum waiting period before a claim can be filed. If Canada Post concludes that a parcel has been lost in their network, Aminopeptides will, at its sole discretion, arrange a replacement shipment or issue a refund to the original method of payment.

Parcels that arrive physically damaged, or whose contents show visible transit damage, must be reported within seventy-two (72) hours of the delivery event recorded by Canada Post. Please refer to the Refund Policy for the full damage-reporting procedure, documentation requirements, and remedies. Reports made outside the 72-hour window are not eligible for replacement or refund.

Delivered-but-Missing Parcels

If Canada Post tracking shows a parcel as delivered but you have not received it, please first check with neighbours, building concierges, household members, and the exterior of your property (including side doors, porches, and mail rooms) before contacting us. Canada Post occasionally updates delivery status before the final physical delivery completes. If the parcel genuinely cannot be located, contact us so we can escalate with the carrier. Aminopeptides is not responsible for theft, misdelivery, or loss that occurs after Canada Post has recorded the parcel as delivered to the address on the label, and replacement in these cases is not guaranteed. [LAWYER REVIEW REQUIRED] Counsel should confirm the enforceability of this shifted-risk clause under the Ontario Sale of Goods Act and applicable federal consumer-protection rules.

Address Errors and Customer Responsibility

It is the customer’s responsibility to verify that the shipping address entered at checkout is accurate, complete, and current. Aminopeptides ships to the address exactly as submitted. If a parcel is returned to us by Canada Post because the address was incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable, we will contact you to arrange a re-ship at the customer’s expense. If you realize an address error before the label is generated, contact us immediately at aminopeptides1@gmail.com and we will do our best to correct the record; we cannot guarantee a change once the parcel has been handed to the carrier.

No International Shipping

Aminopeptides ships within Canada only. We do not ship to the United States, to any other international destination, to Canadian freight-forwarding addresses that re-export parcels, or to post-office boxes in foreign jurisdictions. Orders that appear to be destined for onward international shipment will be cancelled and refunded, less any payment-processing costs already incurred.

Discreet Packaging

All Aminopeptides parcels are shipped in plain, unbranded outer packaging. The return address uses a generic identifier, and nothing on the exterior of the parcel references peptides, research chemicals, or laboratory supplies. An itemized packing slip is included inside the parcel for your records; it is not visible from outside the box.
